Slowpitch JOURNEY

How did you get into slowpitch?
I was invited out to do some BP, and after making some good catches on the outfield the team i practiced with added me to the team.

What got you hooked?
The fun environment and the people I've got to meet over the years. As I started developing as a player and started playing competitively I got me hooked.

When did it become competitive for you?
3 years ago once I started playing tournament ball.

What keeps you motivated year after year?
Seeing my development progress and being a role model to my kids.

Why I Love THE GAME

What slowpitch means to you beyond wins and losses?
Slowpitch to me became a opportunity to be part of a softball family and huge softball community in our area. I've built tons of friendships and connections with great people.

What does the brand represent to you?
A Softball family and brand that continuesly keeps striving to put out great products.

What do you love about the bats?
The performance, looks and the sound of the Louie bats once they have properly broken in.

When did you first swing a slugger bat?
3 years go the Ironman 2.0 became my favorite bat.

OFF THE Field

Apart from showing my love for the game, I'm a big advocate for men's mental health and suicide awareness and prevention. I wear the number 988 which is a USA/Canada suicide prevention helpline.

Advice for competitive players chasing the next level?
Work on the cut swing and ball placement.

Don't be discouraged by slow progress if you're just starting off. Don't compare yourself to other players we all have different levels of experience. Don't lose the fun of softball by worrying about wins and losses.

Career HIGHLIGHTS

5 championships and 4 top 3 finishes in the last 2 years. Haven't played in any Florida major tournaments but looking forward to doing so.
