How did you get into slowpitch?
My dad got me into slowpitch. He would sign the park waiver at 16 years old so I could fill in on their team when they were short players. After college softball, it was one of my first choices to continue playing but in a different capacity. I would attend league nights and eventually got asked more times than I can count to come check out tournaments.

What got you hooked?
I love the game. Softball has always been a passion of mine, but when you add great friends and experiences to the mix, your glass is always full and you are always looking for more.

When did it become competitive for you?
Softball has been apart of my life for as long as I can remember. The competitiveness of softball has always been in my blood. When I joined tournaments and found how competitive the atmosphere is... there was no turning back.

What keeps you motivated year after year?
Year after year softball gives fills my cup and gives me a sense or purpose. After worlds, I always look forward to Challenge Cup and how I can be better next year.

What slowpitch means to you beyond wins and losses?
Beyond the diamond, this sport has given me an incredible community, led me to my future husband, and lifelong friendships that I’ll cherish forever. Each year, I look forward to coming back not only for the competition, but for the people and the great equipment I get to be around.

When did you first swing a slugger bat?
The first time I picked up a Louisville Slugger bat was in college. My bat broke mid-game, and I needed one for my next at-bat. On the first pitch, I nearly hit the ball 300 feet. I’ve never swung another brand since—even through my transition into slowpitch.

What does the brand represent to you?
Louisville Slugger is more than just a brand to me. They support autism awareness, a cause that is extremely close to my heart. Being able to represent and support a company that aligns with something so meaningful to me while doing what I love gives the game an even deeper purpose and makes me a fan for life.

What do you love about the bats?
With Louisville Slugger, I know I’m getting a high-quality product that lasts. The sound, colors, grip—everything about it feels right. Swinging a Slugger means swinging the best product in the game. These bats have carried me through some of the biggest moments of my fastpitch and slowpitch career, and I don’t want to swing anything else. My current gamers are the Love the Moment 2-Piece 26 oz and the 2025 26 oz Matt Brady.

Off the field, I work as a Human Resource Manager for a large entertainment company. I enjoy outdoor walks and hikes, and balancing life and softball can be challenging—especially during busy work seasons—but when you love the game, you always make time for training, batting practice, and the grind.

Advice for new players?
My advice to new players is simple: put yourself out there. Follow social media pages, play with people you don’t know, and be open to new opportunities. You never know who’s going to give you a chance or help take your game to the next level. The connections you make within this community can benefit you far beyond softball. After 2026, my goal is to take the leap to conference play and compete at the highest level.


Advice for competitive players chasing the next level?
The next level isn't reached in one tournament or one season. It's earned through hundreds of small decisions made every day. Stay hungry, stay humble, and remember: the players who separate themselves are usually the ones willing to do what others won't long before game day.
