Slowpitch JOURNEY

I started playing slowpitch in 2019 in a coed softball league and was asked to play my first sanctioned tournament in 2021 and from then I was hooked. As someone with a love to compete, playing travel tournament softball was as good as it gets and it’s been my goal to keep getting better every season.

Why I Love THE GAME

As great as this game is, my favorite thing about playing slowpitch softball is the community of people in it and the many friendships/relationships formed and how this game is being used to bring awareness to causes that are so much bigger than just the game of softball.

Why Slugger

I started swinging Louisville Slugger in high school and throughout my fastpitch career and it was a no brainer on what to try first when I began playing slowpitch. One of my good friends and fellow Slugger Slowpitch ambassadors introduced me to my first Slugger slowpitch bat and that’s been it for me since. I currently run a really awesome community facebook group, called All Things Slugger, and it’s been an amazing way to get the Slugger brand in the hands of the slowpitch community all over the country, and I’ve made so many amazing friendships through interactions with the members.

OFF THE Field

Outside of softball, I am a mother of two children and a whole zoo of animals. I work full time as a civil engineer and am also a RedAthlete Ambassador in addition to being a Slugger Slowpitch ambassador.

Proud member of the Autism/ADHD community.
